Large joinery scope, furniture and window treatments
The Schlam fit out was over two levels and was pretty much an empty shell and not very inviting.
A very large staircase, made from steel with steel checker plate steps, greeted you as you entered the reception, not much to work with.
Our challenge, at our clients’ requests, was to transform this area to have a warm Scandinavian feel.
Our design team got to work, headed up by Angela and produced a render to show our client what could be done, they were amazed and asked us to proceed without any changes to the design team’s render.
On completion, the fit out looked exactly like the render, which included cladding the warehouse style look of the staircase into an elegant and practical wooden staircase, great craftsmanship from our joinery team!
The fit out also included joinery in the boardroom to encase two very large wall mounted TV screens and two kitchens were also installed.
A complete high-end furniture fit out was also carried out with sit stand desks and planter boxes that accompanied the newly installed joinery.
All windows had new dual roller blinds installed with some of them being remote controlled.
All was delivered on time, which was very important as our client had a new team starting work on a set date. The project was also delivered on budget.
Schlam, our client, was very impressed with what we presented and we have now been invited to design and quote two more large areas for them with the aim for work to begin soon.
All in all an amazing transformation which is surely going to impress guests of Schalm.
