Project overview

Mader is an ASX company with an amazing culture. They wanted a fitout that embraced who they are as a business as well as how they work. In late November 2025, they approached us looking to work with a company that could complete their fitout in 7 months, but also not blow the budget. At 4200m2 of space this was certainly a challenge that we readily took on.

Our amazing client was fantastic to deal with and made quick, concise decisions to enable us to develop the design in record time. The design stage only took 3 months which included the Christmas break. Needless to say, we achieved their objective.

Scope of work

The brief from Mader was simple. Allocate the budget in the areas that mattered to them and the culture they wanted to create and not in the other areas. Angela, our head of design, set about creating enticing areas in the staff breakout spaces and a level of luxury in the executive area. The balance was minimalistic and functional.

There were a few areas that had to be resolved, namely additional toilets for the increased density of the office (25 of them), expansive modifications to the air conditioning for the new layout and ensuring that it could all come together on time. Design was completed by the end of February with only two rounds of changes and the build started in Feb. By mid June the staff were arriving in their new home. 3 Kitchens, 15 Meeting rooms, 32 Offices and open plan desks for 354 staff. On time, on budget and not one variation in the entire project.
